3 girls go to dinner, bill comes to $30 they each pay $10, the bill was actually only $25, the waiter gives them back each $1, he only has $2 left wheres the extra dolar?
logic each girl only paid $9 after getting $1 back 9x3=27. 30-27=3. $3 should be left.

30 divided by 3 is 10, but if the waiter overcharged by $5 than 25 divided by 3 is 8.33 repeating.
If the waiter gave them back $1 that would mean that they paid 9.33 each. With the 2 dollars from the waiter, the 25 from the waiter, and the 9.33 from each customer equals $30 dollars.

the extra dollar is with one of the girls, 9x3=27, 27-25=2 so he should only have $25:
girl 1: gave 9 dollars
g 2: gave 9 dollars
g 3: gave 7 dollars and 2 dollar tip

If the bill was $25 and they each got $1 back,that's $28.Add in the remaining $2 = $30!

dont ad $2 to the $27. the $2 was meant as a refund, thus should be $27-2=$25.

girls pay 10 each
10x3=30
he really meant to charge them 25
30-25= 5 to give back
he gives one dollar back to each
3x1=3 5-3=2
There is no other dollar!!!!
