You are right, there is never a time that relatives get so crazy and mean as when they are about to inherit. Just stay out of all the drama and do what you think is right. When the will is in probate, the estate will be divided up as the deceased wanted it to.

I'm very blessed that this did not happen between my brothers and sisters (and there are 9 of us) when my mother was alive or even after she passed away. However, I do realize that our situation was rare. People are so afraid they are going to miss out on something. Everyone these days seem to be after the almighty dollar, even to the extent that long loving relationships are often destroyed because of it. It's really quite a shame. As it is said "money is the root of all evil".

Most peopleonly care about what you going to do for them,leave them.
I've seen it so many time I still can't believe it, hey why is dad leave you more then me I loved him more and I want to go take care of him more then you, so why aren’t I getting more.
Most people are just looking for the easy score anything they don’t have to work for. Welcome to the human race most are just out for themselves and what comes free.
