Sure there is. Some suggestions would be: contact the maintenance department of any airline and ask if they would sell you a surplus seat. Contact an aircraft dismantler, there is one located at the Mojave, California airport and also one near the Davis-Monthan AFB in Tucson, Arizona. If you wanted a new seat you could contact a seat manufacturer such as B/E Aerospace in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, and yea, yea you could always try Ebay.

They don't sell those singly. They come as sectionss of 2, 3, or 4
Mythbusters buy airplane surplus all the time. :)
The name they dropped in "Interface Aviation" of Hollister, CA. These are commercial quality refurbished airliner seats.

Boeing Surplus (South of Seattle) used to sell them. Not sure if they still do.
