It's worth it, for all those reasons. Get one that has a humidity control button on it and set it to 35%. I just bought one for the same reasons, it helps !

It might seem odd but traye putting an open container of water near your bed at nigth. It should help

I cant really say, but get an air purifier. That will work the best.
