Have a good attitude about it but ask her to stop. If she continues to spread rumors tell a counselor. But don't spread rumors about her! It'll just make you look bad.

start some on her worse than what she started on you try writting it down on paper and just drop it next to someone and the rest will come easy you wont get the blame
