What are some of your favorite pet names that have been given to you; either by current loves, or past ones? What ones were cute, but then what ones were a real turn on when you heard them whispered in your ear? Ladies, any input or ideas would be greatly appreciated! Thanks everyone. Cheers!

I think a foreign pet name is great.
Like mon amour which means My Love in French.
Or Carino which means Honey in Spanish.
Personally, I really like stupid names that just come out of your mouth inadvertantly! I call my boyfriend cabbage, because we would use my little cabbage in French as a pet name, and the translation is cute too, and he calls me Poppy or Poppy Head, I really like it! It just comes from anecdotes and it makes it even more personal and cute!

I prefer monosyllabic (I saw a question asking why this particular word was so long) names such as: Babe and Hon or Hun and occasionally I throw in a darling for variation...but very rare. Ironically enough I only use full names, no matter how many syllables (i.e. call my b/f David not Dave)

he is a new boyfriend..that is why you are having problems thinking one up. With time, and more closeness, a pet name will come naturally. Don't force it or it will sound phony!!

If you choose someone else name then it doesn't mean anything, you pick a name by the way you feel and it has meaning to you........

Don't guys hate it. They will pretend to like it, or even say they like it to appease you.
