times in your life? Does it kind of creep you out a little? I am 41 and have a 55 year old lover. As an adult it doesn't matter about age but if I go back and think about it, he was 14 when I was born. He was 20 when I was starting kindergarten. It's just kind of weird to think about it, even though we didn't meet till a couple years back. When he was in college , I was a little girl starting grade school and to think that 34 years years later we would meet. Just kinda interesting.

Yeah and it kind of gets creepy but when you consider the joy you bring to each others lives, then the age difference just seems to disappear.

I had a friend that dated someone 15 yrs older. At the time it wasn't such a big deal, but when they broke up she realised that it would be a massive problem, i.e. when she's 55 he'll be 70. It was never as issue while she was with him, but I think that was because on some level she knew she wouldn;t be with him forever. They were both so similar in other ways that it never really came up, and nobody really saw it as an issue and I don't really think it ever caused them problems. If they hadn't split up (nothing to do with the age thing) then it would have become a real problem for her and would have majorily weirded her out!! Hope that helps!

I used to date a much older lady and I thought it was very interesting to think about that.

If it bothers you maybe you can think of it like this: if there was a huge oak tree that was only an acorn when you were born, would you feel weird seeking shelter from the rain beneath it?

At 41 you should consider yourself lucky to have any kind of man, not debate his age. But you might consider going for a 19-year old as an ego-booster. It's much easier than you think.

From my adventure- do no longer DO IT! while i became 19 i began out relationship a coworker who became 20 years older than me. besides the indisputable fact that before everything he informed me he became 32 he became truly almost 40. truly did no longer seem or act it although. besides, he sucked the existence out of me and sucked away my adolescents interior the previous 6 years. each thing I would desire to have adventure in my early 20's became frowned on via him simply by fact he'd already been there, finished that and discovered from it. I ignored out on plenty!

If you think about it that much maybe you have a problem with it and should not see this person anymore. I think it is kinda weird that you are dating this person and thinking this way!!!
