some idiots drove their car on some ice here where I live. Their SUV sank LMAO has this happened to anyone else?

No I have never and never will, they were goofing around so they deserve what happened, they'll think twice next time.

Have lots of Ice Fishing Huts around here close to shore. I'm not that brave to attempt but it's something that goes with the territory of having a Fishing Hut on the Ice.

Some ice-fishermen go onto the ice prematurely at times resulting in a sinkage. Also in the thaw, there may be some who push the limits and get caught.

Yes, but not while the ice wasn't thick enough to support me. My father, who taught me, wanted me to know how to drive on ice, so we had lessons on the frozen stock pond at the farm.

Nothing happened to me or the car. It is at your own risk!
I've seen a couple snowmobiles try to cross a lake with open water...... They didn't get all the way across with their snowmobile!

i would not drive a vehicle on ice that is for fishiny
