Basically I think it means that in order to be happy, we have to stop waiting for that "perfect" life to happen. When you are constantly chasing a fantasy of what it is "supposed" to be, you will miss the life thats happening in front of you. Be happy with where you are and who you are. I think you should still always strive for things, but you won't be happy if you think there's a better life out there.

Well, to enjoy it, you have to be able to give up yourself for something greater...like, giving up yourself to God to live his will to make your life better.

In addition, the lure of life could be the temptations that would be considered "wrong." Take pornography for example. Sure, many people are lured into it, but are those the people who enjoy life? No. Those are the ones who have nothing to their lives, who live their life around a little circle and they're blocked in.

Also, sometimes you have to give up things for stuff you know that's better. Like giving up that party to study for a test. The party may be luring you to relaxation, good times, and craziness, but the test is what's going to make or break a lot of things, and the class may impact your future.

So, in other words, make good decisions, and life will treat you well.

A lure is something that attracts you so basically it says "Give some to get some."

stop yearning for all the material possibilities life offers you - stop chasing the big house, great car, 5* holiday etc etc. just enjoy what you have around you and live in the present.

its similar to the quote that goes (paraphrase - sorry)..: so busy waiting to live life that you miss it passing you by.
soemtimes we are all so hungry for life, waiting for the unknown that we miss all the precious things we are surrounded by.

thats my analysis, anyway.! xx
