Has anyone noticed that all the knowledgable people are not coming on to answer questions any more. I wonder why?
And has anyone noticed that the quality of questions has taken a toll for the worse? What is going on here?

All the knowledgable people (that ask questions and answer them) have jobs and are too busy making money to go on Yahoo! Answers.

I stopped answering questions because I just got tired of YA!, the questions are getting more ridiculous by the day(I did not think that was possible) and the questions are always the same. Honestly, it is boring giving the same answers to the same moronic questions that are constantly asked.
I have come to the conclusion that people do not come here for real answers or care to hear the truth they come here to be patted on the back or to have others agree on what great owners they are or just to get some medical advice from all the "experts" so they do not have to waste money on a real vet. As it was previously stated they get the truth deleted as if to try to protect the morons from real knowledge. YA has been plagued by ignorance and stupidity.
It is truly sickening to see how animals are valued so little by the majority of people that own them.

The old yahoo message boards, which A LOT of people were on, shut down recently (within the past month). All those users flooded YA. New, different message boards are back up, but not many of the old users like them. So, they stay on YA.

With more users comes more askers, and more trolls. With more questions and more answerers, the good answers are going to be more spread out. They're there, just dispersed a little.

Wow! something different. A real question.......I haven't seen one of those around here lately. I stopped answering the dumb ones and on a few days couldn't answer any. There has been a sharp decline of factual answers and the same DUMB questions. "When will my do have her period? What should I do with the pups? How many pups will my dog have? What should I name my puppy? Do you think my dog is pregnant?" the list goes on and on. The person that said there is no such thing as a dumb question, obviously never was on YA.

The questions have been hideous. I cannot believe the level of ignorance here! Not so much on dog breeds, behavior, training, health, but on simple pet ownership and common sense. GEEZUS!

I got tired of the level of morons who ask: "when does my dog get her *period*?...why are my dogs stuck together?... my dog is bleeding out his eyeballs and I need a DIY home remedy?... if a pit bull and a Doberman fight which one would win?... I can't afford a vet so how can I crop my dog's ears?"

I check in from time to time to see if anything really educational comes up from those who are truly experienced dog people. Who wants to spend night after night reading the bullsh!t that is asked by the clueless dog owners who don't care to research anything?

Ignorance can be cured by you can't fix stupid.

Yes-- there's been an influx of very young people (10-14) and the quality has plummeted as a result!

Alot of the questions are extremly ignorant or just people wanting to show their stupidity --so the answers are getting just as bad!! Alot of people ask questions because the are seeking real help with something and they still get alot of stupid/ignorant answers--if you don't have a clue to the answer--DON'T ANSWER THE QUESTION!!!!!!!!!

Yahoo! Answers is becoming more popular. That always attracts people who are not really interested in learning things.
