I know you can't wash your hair for 24 hours.
but I haven't washed it in 2 days.
yes I have taken showers.
but I was wondering if it was okay to do that.

this is actually the best time to color your hair the oils in you hair protect it so that the hair color doesn't cause as much damage to you hair shaft, thus you get an overall longer-lasting color. I wouldn't recommend washing your hair first unless you wait at least a day until you color because you need those natural oils form your hair to protect it.

its in perfect condition to be dyed
i dye all the time and the best results are when hair is dirty

Wash your hair. Your hair getting dyed might damage your hair some.

Wash your hair, use a special sort of shampoo and wash your hair then while washing it leave the shampoo in for few minutes and let it work then wash it out that should sort it....dying your hair may damage it.

my cousin dyes her own hair and she prefers to let her hair get greesy for like two days and then she will dye it.it helps the color stick to your hair better for a better, and stronger, longer lasting color.

maybe what you feel is greasy, isnt... if you wash your hair every day, than your hair seems dirty, but probably not.i know you should not use haircolor on freshly washed... i think youll be fine... go for it!

No it's not ok. It will really damage your hair. Dying your hair makes it dry. Take a shower before you do, because of that. Just a little advice.

first off thats it so nasty that u didn't wash u hair...why would u do that? anyway u need to take a shower and wash ur hair dry it and then u can dye it

its best to dye your hair when its clean.you want the dye to clingto your hair strands not the dirt.wash your hair before dying.
