Response is variable and depends on several factors such as type of acne, family history, and treatment. Generally, I think you should start to see improvement in 2 - 3 weeks. If not, discuss it with your doctor.

It really depends on which type of medicine. If the dermatologist prescribed antibiotics, then it'll start working in around 24 to 36 hours....but it'll take longer for that to see results. Be patient......take the medicine and treatments exactly as the dermatologist has told you. Best of luck to you.
