Nobody better use me for an escape goat. I am neither a goat or all that good at escaping. Oh and I am inconvertable.

Escape goat? That's a good one!
Stop telling them you're an atheist. When you grow up, you will find that your religious preference is far less significant in the world at large. No one has asked me about my religion for at least the last 15 years.

Lol..that's "scape goat", but at least we get what you're saying. I think Christians just always feel threatened by new ideas and by people that don't follow what they think. I live in a town with 5 thousand people and 25 churches, and I'm an atheist.

It's difficult sometimes when everyone always asks me, "so what church do you go to?....you...don't go to church?....*lights a torch and finds their pitchfork*"

Because most religious folk are Hyprocrites. Doing things to look good in front of there fellow church people. It s all about Ego.

I do not believe in any religion, I just believe in what I Know.

I believe in respecting others for all they do, as long as what they do is respect others and me.

I do believe in an Afterlife spirit world. Out of Hope and experience.

It seems to me, that when every day is darkness and without Hope, if I look to the day I may go on to a spirit world where there may be peace and happiness and rest, that keeps me going for another day.

I ve had religious folk try to convert me as well, yet when i tell them my belief s , I seem to convert them into doubting there religion .

They must be carefull who they try to convert, for they may be converted themselves . ha ha.

I remember these two bible thumpers came to my place once, as I walked to the entrance. And they began asking if I would hear the word of God etc. And I told them I don t need to , and I began to tell them my belief s, such as , how when we die, what ever we believe happens, will happen, as the energy is manipulated around us to fit our thought s. And that Hitlar himself went to Heaven for he believed he was right, and that an all loving God will not say , " you have folllowed me , but took my name in vain once, so you shall spend eternity into fire." .

and they had to leave, because one of the two people began to agree.

LOL

You think differently to them, they feel threatened and defensive so they try to discredit you, it's so transparent...you can watch their minds slowly ticking over as they go through the process again and again.

Because they consider "atheist" to be just as reprehensible as "murderer". They feel compelled to "rehabilitate" us out of our "wrongful minds".
