This is different for every person, but the simple answer would be yes if you have waited for 2 years.
If it hasn't been that long then please don't bother yourself with what people think. They are going to talk about you and the family of the deceased will have bad feelings about it even if you waited 20 years.
Basically, if you've healed enough inside to date again then it's time for you no matter how long others may say.
Some people need companionship more than others so it's hard for people to understand that feeling of loneliness if they don't work the same way.
Go woth your heart and definitely don't let a good person pass you by if you have a chance at a good thing with them.

It depends on the person, grief is different for everyone, the adjustment period is usually about 2 years .You can never say that someone will get over the loss of a loved one, they only adjust to the loss,.It is sad to see people suffer but just be there for them.

There is no set time, but eventually you have to set back into real life and get on with the time you have.
