You can do agility with her. It is when you run a dog through an obstacle course and it is timed. I would contact you local kennel club or the club that your dog is registered with and see if they have a agility program.

There's something called "lure coursing" where sighthounds will chase a lure down a track. It's usually just for fun, but sometimes for competition. Since the Sussex Spaniel isn't a sight hound, she may not be allowed on a lure coursing track (it really depends on how strict your local lure coursing club is).

Another thing is "agility" where dogs run over and under obstacles, sometimes for run and sometimes for competition. There's no breed requirements for agility; any dog can enter. Your local agility club usually will have beginning agility classes that you and your dog could enter.
Here's some websites with more info:

Hope this helps...

You can buy your own agility equiment off this site listed below or find your own site. Just make sure you start her out at a low level. You can also try taking her to a fenced in softball or baseball field and throwing toys so she has plenty of room to run. I wouldn't recommend racing her because a lot of dogs recently are being overexerted and the whole buisness is pretty corrupt. This year alone seven dogs have died from overexertion countrywide and 28 have had to retire within the first year of racing. It's not healthy at all. It's best to let her have her fun at her own pace. You could even make your own jumps out of chairs or sanded down wood. Be creative and you can find something.

you could look up a Obedience dog school, Agility or a Fly Ball training club in your area of the country

Check to see if there is a FlyBall group in your area. It looks like A Lot of Fun!

I'd find a dog park, there she can play with other dogs, you, and burn her energy.
