Growth is genetically determined, but also influenced by health and nutrition. Smoking has a negligible effect on most people's growth.

BUT, smoking is rapidly addicting. Only about one in seven smokers are successful in quitting. The long term health consequences of smoking are horrendous - chronic bronchitis, emphysema, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, lung cancer, heart disease, peripheral artery disease, low birth weight infants, increased incidence of bladder cancer, increased wrinkling of the skin with age, and a myriad of other nasty conditions.

DON'T SMOKE!!!

That's what my mum always told me( you will never grow smoking those awful cigarettes) and I smoked when I was 14 and still do many years later and I am only 5' 2 at the most so maybe it is true!!!!!!!!!

No it is an old wives tale, how tall you grow is determined by your growth plates in your bones, but you should not smoke, my mother smoked because she thought it would stop her from growing she is 5'10...
