Nature has inspired so many artists because of its natural beauty and the uniqueness of it. Nature is also changing, not only by the time of year, but because of the light and changing weather.

Nature inspires me, because when you get out there and not just look at the view, but look say at a tree, for example, study the twists and turns of one tree compared to another, look at the shape and size of the leaves, examine the colour of the leaves, are they all green, part green, brown, red, yellow, a mix of all these? There is much in nature that we look at without really seeing it.

When I look at a beautiful sky, first I admire it, then I really study the palette of colours it has, if there's red, is it really red, is it all one block colour, does it have purple tinges to it, then I think how I would mix colours to recreate that sky.

Art makes you see the world with a completely new perspective!

Look at the complex beauty of an orchid. If an artist can successfully reproduce an image like that, most artistic enthusiasts will applaud his skill, after all.

Still, I try to find original art that uses imagination as well as skill. When an artist can visualize what that particular orchid might look like after 100 years of environmental change, I'm usually impressed.

nature represents the raw beauty of natural cycles, rejuvenation, oxygen, discovery, development, depth, organic connectivity, and so much more. Also, it is innocent, doesn't have any kind of malicious contempt towards the stupidity of human beings determined to destroy it. I think it inspires, because the artist wants to convey the beauty of all nature and how it makes him/her feel, and perhaps others, who pass nature by, never look at the trees, stop and smile at the dancing flowers or scurrying squirrels, perhaps the people who see this art will stop and feel something. let themselves feel something...
