I'm north of Watford gap and i still think black pudding tastes vile: a mixture of gristle, old socks, dried up blood and mud. Yuk! Soft Southern husband loves the stuff though. He doesn't like egg so it works well if we go out to breakfast- I get double egg and he gets double black pudding.

We genuinely ought to construct a wall at Watford, to shop the southerners the position they belong eating their flat beer and eating their jellied eels (god they are undesirable issues) and by technique of the way it really is York not york and also you do not have extra effective procuring down south its in basic terms extra extreme priced.

I live In Bedfordshire and I love Black pudding, fried with a cooked breakfast or cold with tomato ketchup in a sandwich yum yum. Lived in Manchester for a while and it was always on the shopping list, then moved back south and when went out with friends for our breakfast and catch up once kids gone to school, she doesnt like it at all. I Proberbly got the taste from my Dad who comes from Scotland and my Mums parents also from Scotland, although when we visit my Grandma who still live in Aberdeen she asks us to to bring her a Black pudding ring up to her as they not the same as the ones we get in Bedford.

Sometimes. I've had mouth-wateringly good black pudding and, from a supermarket, disgusting, lumpy, fatty stuff with the same name.
