While I can't find it in the Bible exactly how you put it, the Jehovah's Witness believe that Jesus was actually the Earthly form for the Archangel Michael. They have several passages from the Bible where they derive their belief. One is in Thesselonians 4:16 "For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first." This statement has been widely disputed by many people as to the fact that Jesus is the Archangel. Most believe that he is accompanied by the Archangel because of the fact that it says "...with the voice of THE archangel...".
Many people also believe that God created the Heavens and the Earth through is son Jesus Christ. This belief comes from Hebrews 1: 1-2 "God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;..."
If you put two and two together, that's where they get their belief that the Archangel created Heaven and Earth. I don't know if the Jehovah's Witness have their own version of the Bible or not, but these passages were taken out of the King James Version.

Hi robert k. The earth is a little less than 14,000 years old. The days have always been 24 hours long. Those who say that days or nights were thousands of hours long are interpreting the Bible wrong. In Genesis 1:11-13 God tells us He created plants and fruits on the third day:
"Then God said, “Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb that yields seed, and the fruit tree that yields fruit according to its kind, whose seed is in itself, on the earth”; and it was so...13 So the evening and the morning were the third day."
On the forth day He created day and night. In Genesis 1:14-19 God tells us:
"Then God said, “Let there be lights in the firmament of the heavens to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs and seasons, and for days and year...16 Then God made two great lights: the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night. He made the stars also. 17 God set them in the firmament of the heavens to give light on the earth,18 and to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness. And God saw that it was good. 19 So the evening and the morning were the fourth day."
Now if the days were a thousands of hours long all of the vegetation on the earth would have burned up because of all the sunlight. If the nights were thousands of hours long all of the vegetation on the earth would have died because vegetation needs light to grow, but too much sun or too much darkness will kill the vegetation. God created 4 seasons and He created 24 hour days, just like it is now.

You're adding things that were not in your last question.
As for knowing Greek, anyone can buy an Interlinear Greek Translation of the New Testament at any Bible book store, and see that John spelled god four different ways, but never used the same spelling as regards The Word and God Almighty. He did use the same spelling for god in referring to The Word, Satan, and men. Are the all God?
Buy a copy of the book and look for yourself.

don't experience undesirable approximately Cathy's remark, I easily have seen her around on JW questions. JWs have those "please, bypass away them on my own" characters following while somebody questions WT or JWs. i would not have so super of an issue with them in the event that they left human beings on my own with their fake teachings. They make too many blunders for "God's purely channel of communique". Their "wide awake" magazine could be suggested as " awaken!" it incredibly is no longer a annoying factor to strike a nerve with JWs. they are very 'nervy'. till you of direction trust them

Dear Robert,
I pray that you did hit a nerve with all of them! I also pray that at least for some of them the scales will fall from their blind eyes.
When I was visiting with a nice jw couple who came to my doorstep last fall I asked them if they believed that Jesus was the angel Michael and I told them that I do not believe that.
They assured me that if I just read one of their little books that it would give me the proof I needed to believe. I assured them that I have read the Bible from cover-to-cover several times in the last several years and hadn't seen anything remotely close to their claim. They still assured me that all of the Bible verses given in their little book would prove it.
So I accepted their book and I agreed to read it if they would agree to read something that I had printed out. They agreed to do so. They sent different jws to my doorstep but since the original couple did not come back I've been praying that they saw the error of their material.
I gave them a copy of One Truth Exposes a Thousand Lies - Traits Shared Between Jehovah and Jesus from http://www.soulright.com
I read the introduction to their little book and found only one thing that I could agree with - reading the entire Bible in a year. The appendix of the book discussed Michael and gave some Bible verses however none of them came anywhere near close to saying that Jesus was Michael or that everything was created through Michael.
Those things you ask about are NOT in the Bible. They aren't even in the distorted NWT but they are prominent in Watchtower publications.

It's eluded to in the bible. Nowhere does the Bible ever say that a "day" is a 24 hour period like we measure it today. The concept of measuring time wasn't devised for centuries!
LOL -- hitting a nerve with the JW? That's funny. I had a JW neighbor once who used to leave her publications under my door mat regularly. I thought it was kind of her to share, and decided to share with her. I enjoyed the opportunity to learn about her, and thought she would like to learn about me, as well. I started leaving my Presbyterian publications under her doormat. She got all huffy. I guess she didn't take it in the spirit in which it was given.

Trying to find a JW who knows Koine Greek is like looking for a pink elephant. Even the translators of their New World Translation chose to remain anonymous. I've never had one come to the door, but I have a Greek New Testament here waiting for them. I will promptly ask them to read to me John 1:1 and explain it.
With all do respect, Bear, imagine a Japanese person pretending to know English because he owns a Japanese to English dictionary. Again, JW's don't know Greek and act like they do.

I don't know where you are getting your information and of course you didn't state where only to say that it "hit a nerve".
The fact that Michael the Archangel (Archangel means chief of the Angels which does describe Jesus) as Michael actually means: "Who Is Like God?" Not that Jesus was God, but that the name Michael is actually a question. Jesus was called the "Word" and was described as the "Masterworker" should be very easy for those searching for the Truth to find it, don't you think?
"because the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a commanding call, with an archangel’s voice and with God’s trumpet, and those who are dead in union with Christ will rise first." -1 Thessalonians
What in the Scripture above do you not understand? Have you not understood that in many, many cases the Bible explains itself?
The Archangel's Voice here is one of Authority is it not?
Also, in the book of Proverbs where "wisdom personified" is described it is also describing Jesus Christ:
"“Jehovah himself produced me as the beginning of his way, the earliest of his achievements of long ago. 23 From time indefinite I was installed, from the start, from times earlier than the earth. 24 When there were no watery deeps I was brought forth as with labor pains, when there were no springs heavily charged with water. 25 Before the mountains themselves had been settled down, ahead of the hills, I was brought forth as with labor pains, 26 when as yet he had not made the earth and the open spaces and the first part of the dust masses of the productive land. 27 When he prepared the heavens I was there; when he decreed a circle upon the face of the watery deep, 28 when he made firm the cloud masses above, when he caused the fountains of the watery deep to be strong, 29 when he set for the sea his decree that the waters themselves should not pass beyond his order, when he decreed the foundations of the earth, 30 then I came to be beside him as a master worker, and I came to be the one he was specially fond of day by day, I being glad before him all the time, 31 being glad at the productive land of his earth, and the things I was fond of were with the sons of men."
-Proverbs 8:22-31
And, what about the following Scripture do you not understand?
"He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation; 16 because by means of him all [other] things were created in the heavens and upon the earth, the things visible and the things invisible, no matter whether they are thrones or lordships or governments or authorities. All [other] things have been created through him and for him. 17 Also, he is before all [other] things and by means of him all [other] things were made to exist, 18 and he is the head of the body, the congregation. He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that he might become the one who is first in all things; 19 because [God] saw good for all fullness to dwell in him, 20 and through him to reconcile again to himself all [other] things by making peace through the blood [he shed] on the torture stake, no matter whether they are the things upon the earth or the things in the heavens." -Colassians 1:15-20
As far as your comment about 42,000 years you must have dug that up from something that was written in the '50's.
I suppose you are one that is hard and fast when it comes to something that was written that may have been done with the information that was available decades ago, however, you forget that the light of Truth is progressive such as we find in Proberbs:
"But the path of the righteous ones is like the bright light that is getting lighter and lighter until the day is firmly established. 19 The way of the wicked ones is like the gloom; they have not known at what they keep stumbling." -Proverbs 4:18-19
Personally I haven't seen anything other than that the creative days were perhaps thousands of years long. Seven thousand perhaps. If so that would show that we are actually still in the 6th or 7th creative day. By the end of the Seventh those who are doing God's Will will enter into his rest.
"For in one place he has said of the seventh day as follows: “And God rested on the seventh day from all his works,” 5 and again in this place: “They shall not enter into my rest.”
6 Since, therefore, it remains for some to enter into it, and those to whom the good news was first declared did not enter in because of disobedience, 7 he again marks off a certain day by saying after so long a time in David’s [psalm] “Today”; just as it has been said above: “Today if YOU people listen to his own voice, do not harden YOUR hearts.” 8 For if Joshua had led them into a place of rest, [God] would not afterward have spoken of another day.
So there remains a sabbath resting for the people of God. 10 For the man that has entered into [God’s] rest has also himself rested from his own works, just as God did from his own.
Let us therefore do our utmost to enter into that rest, for fear anyone should fall in the same pattern of disobedience.
For the word of God is alive and exerts power and is sharper than any two-edged sword and pierces even to the dividing of soul and spirit, and of joints and [their] marrow, and [is] able to discern thoughts and intentions of [the] heart. 13 And there is not a creation that is not manifest to his sight, but all things are naked and openly exposed to the eyes of him with whom we have an accounting." - Hebrews 4:4-13
Hard to deal with the truth for some, but those of honest heart are drawn to the Truth.
