I know a kid that is 10 years old and the little toddler that is 2 that are constantly harrassing each other. (Fighting and hitting each other).

i think siblings fight so much because they are constantly together. Did you ever realize how best friends will always be like i wish you were my sister or something. the truth is if you and your best friend were sisters you wouldnt get along so well. The only reason sisters fight is because they are sick of seeing each other so much.

Poor parenting! Yikes. A 10-yr-old & 2-yr-old? Where're their mom and dad? How come the parents can't deal with the idea that their 10-yr-old had been an only child & now has to adjust . . . and how the older child acts creates mimicry in the little one. The 2-yr-old needs to be protected and guided through the "terrible twos." Nanny-time!!

i dont see why they should be fighting unless the 2 year old is getting more attention and the 10 year old is jealous..... or the 2 year old took/messed up something of the 10 year old.....
or the 10 year old wants everything and doesnt want to share with the 2 year old (since 10 year old has been spoiled since birth..)

that's the parents fault My parents never let me and my brother fight each other she always told me that if something happend to them it would only be me and him. I am 24 and he is 23 and i cannot tell you the last time we fought because i don't remember he is my best friend. Parents think it's cute to see them fight and then when they get older the can't handle the fighting u can't tell them anything when they are older if u never said anything when they were younger

survival of the fittest.i would be very firm with them because a 10 year old can seriously hurt a 2 year old.

That's because they have to battle over parental attention. Positive or negative attention makes no difference at this age.

It is only natural.
Siblings fight because they have very little personal space.
