Actually l'm holding a learners permit and l had an accident when trying to join a highway road actually it was a little bit of my fault and l had a ticket to pay $145 l'm o.k with the money but l wanted to ask if that will affect my future career as a lawyer and will l loose some point with will extend my learners permit cos l've held it for three months .Can anybody help me cos l'm scared and if anyone has any experience about this please tell me what happened and how u were judged thank u all who tried to answer l appreciate everbodies contribution.

It shouldn't affect your future career at all and in most states it will extend the time you need to have the learners permit in order to get a license. You do get some points assessed on your record because you got the ticket but sometimes they let you take traffic school in order to avoid the points being assessed. You might want to check the DMV website for whatever state you are in. I had an accident once also, even though it wasn't my fault the cop blamed me because he said he needed to put someone at blame and the other person was like 80 so lets blame the the teen over the poor old man. sigh. anyway you should be fine. Oh and your insurance may go up

it wont affect ur career so long as it wasnt one of those situations where you were smokin a fatty and after u rammed the ***** you ran like hell. Dont be scared. its a cherrio mistake young lassy. now go beat ur meat and get a smile on ur face.

dont worry it will all work out. we all make our mistakes in life. i would be thankful that it wasnt worse. you should be just fine and if becoming a lawyer is very important to you it wont be long and youll know the ins and outs of things like this.
