i have a few people that do like me .. but they just arent what i go for.. i mean they are really nice but you know u just cant see yourself with them. people are telling me to just forget my standards and just try it out with them, but i just cant. i mean they arent geeky, they are all athletic but the person that is absolutely perfect for me.. has a girlfriend but tells his friends he really likes me? .. so do i either go with the guy with the girlfriend and see where it goes or.. try it with someone i really dont think it will work out with???? help!!!!

Read your own question! & think about why you think guys are difficult? I beg to differ as I think you are confused
These guys seem perfectly happy till you came along & now apparently they are inferior beings & not up to your high standards
Get out more & meet some new people, your are so wrapped up in your own little world, you need to broaden your social circle.
The person who you say is perfect obviously isnt perfect is he?
& why? do you have to try it ?with someone?( whatever it is?) if you dont think it will work out then it wont so dont even go there
It seems to me like you will never be happy unless you are unhappy with something or someone or other.
what your standards are exactly I dread to think, you think it 's ok to chase a guy who has a girlfreind, you talk like the world should revolve around you, I did not set out to be so blunt but the truth always hurts
I bet there are lots of guys around you that are in here asking why are girls so difficult?

Guys are difficult? No offense, but you're the kind of person that drives a lot of guys absolutely nuts! There are plenty of great, available guys out there, but the fact that they're single for some reason makes them unattractive. Why are women so competitive like this?

Follow your heart if doing that usually leads to good relationships. If it doesn't, use your head as well. Mix it up a bit and you could learn something, even if it is to not mix it up a bit. At least you will know.
As for the guy with the girlfriend... If you manage to get him, you will then have a guy that has proven he will run off with another woman. This doesn't seem like a good idea.

men arent difficult... its you.. you think too much... guys hardly think....
dont go with the guys that you dont like.. you'll just waste time and money....
dont go with the guy that already has a boyfriend....
go with the guy that you like and is single... you say it like those are the only boys in the world... there are many more boys you just dont know or havent seen....... explore and look about.... if you look in one boy for too long, the perfect one might of slip right pass you and you wouldnt even know it....

the guy with the girlfriend obviously likes you hence the reason why he's with... ANOTHER GIRL so that's pretty obvious that it's the way to go. secondly, your standards will either lead you to your dream guy (not likely) or someone who is way too good for you. sounds terribly harsh, but it's realistic.

If the guy with the girl goes with you you're always going to be paranoid that he'll pull the same dirty on you.
None of the other guys are going to be "the one" til you get over the "guy with the girl".
