I actually know of 1 person who, currently, has no belly button.
He, of course, was born with one, but he had an umbilical hernia so they had to do surgery to remove the hernia and they had to also remove the belly button.
You can not be born without one, since that is how the baby gets nutrients from their mother in the womb.

every human has a belly button as they was fed through it in the womb. After pregnancy or lots of weight gain your belly button can become less obvious as the skin might fold over it. But yes every one has one.

Everyone is born with one. However, I work in surgery and once as a woman was being sewn up they basically had to remove her belly button. The skin wouldn't approximate with it in there and so she no longer has one. It's not a big deal and serves no purpose after birth.

Everyone needs a belly button because that's where the umbilical cord was attached.

Adam and Eve, I believe. But that's just a legend. You could get rid of your belly button with plastic surgery, if you really wanted to. But why would you want to? If it's ugly, get it fixed. If it's cute, keep it. If it collects a significant amount of lint, make a felt hat. (You can't knit lint.) If it's an "innie", use it to keep salt in for eating french fries while lying on your beach towel. If it's a deep innie, hide your diamond ring in it if you're getting robbed. All sorts of uses for a belly button.

i had a friend in high school who didn't have a belly button. he said he was an alien but i'm pretty sure he had to have surgery when he was younger and they just didn't fix it where he kept his belly button.

i'm unsure how the regulation works on your state yet while i attempted to get my tragus pierced in New Orleans, they mentioned I had to be a minimum of sixteen and observed via an grownup. i think of the only place you will get it pierced and not utilising a determine cutting-edge is someplace unprofessional and that i do no longer recommend going to considered one of those places. i'd be greater efficient to attend until you're eighteen than get it carried out now via somebody who would not comprehend what they're doing and characteristic it contaminated. possibly basically wait and interior the intervening time coach them you're to blame sufficient to look after a piercing. My mum and dad ultimately gave into my begging for a nostril piercing:)
