Thank you--but I specifically have to use the present perfect tense which I'm positive exists. Still, thanks for answering.

Anna Nicole Smith ha muerto el 8 de febrero. (present perfect)

Anna Nicole Smith murió el 8 de febrero (past simple)

Ella tenía 39 (is the only correct way to say that she was 39 years old in spanish.)

If you want to use past perfect in this sentence, you should change the verb. like this Ella habia cumplido 39. You can't use present perfect in it, because in spanish sounds wrong.

Ella ha tenido 39.(present perfect tense) It's wrong because is'nt an event happened in the past which continues till present. and an event like birthday of someone's is a fact that ocurried in past without continuing story. .

You might be wrong. Present perfect tense does not exist.
If you mean the past perfect tense, you ought to use the auxiliary verb haber in present followed by the past participle of "morir" = to die.

you can say: Anna Nicole Smith ha muerto.

...but if you want to include the date of her death,
you have to use the past imperfect:

Anna Nicole Smith murio el 8 de febrero

The expression: Anna Nicole Smith ha muerto el 8 de febrero, comes out of syntax.

Tenia 39 años (no need to write "ella", for we're talking about her)

.
Anna Nicole Smith ha muerto el 8 de febrero

Tenía 39 años

That are the correct ways.

You are wrong when said "Anna Nicole Smith ha muerto en el ocho de febrero "
We, spanish speakers dont use "en" el 8 de febrero. "el 8 de febrero " is enough.

Same about :"SE ha muerto en el.......etc".. You dont need to say SE.....if you say "ha muerto el........" is enough and correct

Hope it helps

I would say it like this:
Anna Nicole Smith muertó en el ocho de febrero.

This is translated directly to:
Ana Nicole Smith died on the eigth of February.

I hope this helps.

ANS ha fallecido el 8 de febrero a la edad de 39 años.

Fallecer is a little less 'brutal' than 'morir' - somewhat like English 'ANS passed away on Feb 8th at the age of 39.' Much used in annoucing deaths.
