join the club I do loads of cycling on average 100 miles a week and you know it seems to have hardly any effect on my weight.Personally I think exercise is overrated as a way to loose weight its down to diet I'm afaid. the only one that ever worked for me was the atkins with which i can say with certainty will make you lose weight in the short term and do so remarkably quickly. It is not a diet i would recommend anyone going on long term quite apart from overall health concerns after a few weeks you will be really sick of the restricted diet but if you just want to drop a few pounds quick thats the one. I do one month on the atkins about once every six months or whenever the trousers start getting too tight

I have to agree sit ups, is a good idea, partial ones are best( where u only come up about half way) They were hard for me at first but each day I manged to build up slowly. remember to tense yoru stomach, otherwise u can actually build out your stomach, giving you an outwards bulge(still muscle)
Also drinking plenty of water helps, and also a little hint I found out, eating pink grapefruit will attack the fat on your stomach. So maybe bring this in to your diet?

Latest studies show that circut weight training is actually better for weight loss for cardio. The idea behind it is that your body burns more fat trying to rebuild muscles than it does with an accelerated heart rate. And the fat burning will actually last up to 18 hours after your weight training. It has to be a rigourous circut of training but it only needs to last about 15 minutes. Good Luck

Different people have different natural accumulatons of fat - perhaps there's nothing you can do except liposuction. However, I did recently read an article in New Scientist connecting consumption of trans-fatty acids with abdominal fat - worth checking out?

Running is good. Try doing ab stuff and getting on the bike (biking burns a hell of a lot more callories than running). Also, even if you eat healthy, if you eat too much, its still bad for you/ your pot belly.

I used to run every other day and still had a bit of a tummy, it was reduced but never dissappeared. Do weights that should help.

Stop putting loads of food and drink into it.If you diet sensibly, you WILL lose the pot belly. If you try to lose it just by excercising it will take 'forever'.
