I believe the average time for the passport is around three weeks, I would think that currently it may take a bit longer because of the new regulations so many people are getting their passports, so I would think there is a bit of backlog. You can get all of the information that you need at the US post office website http://www.usps.com/

It used to take about 3 weeks but now that the new US Airport requirements for having passports to fly into the US are in effect and thousands of people are applying for them daily, the wait time is now about two months. There is a provision to speed things up for an extra fee if you fall into a certain category such as bereavement, but just having a booking in three weeks for a vacation doesn't qualify. Also, be sure you get a qualified photographer to take your picture as the new regulations (no fuzzy edges, no smiles, etc) can seriously delay the process and will require you to have your photo taken again.

It usually takes 4-6 weeks but you should allow longer in case there are any delays or problems. I would give a minimum of 2 months to make sure you receive it in good time for your departure. In the UK, you can pay a little extra if you need your passport quickly and they'll get it to you faster.

It generally takes 3 to 4 week. You have the options to expedite. I got mine in 48 hours. With the new law that requires your to have for travel out of country. It could take much longer. Everyone is racing to get them.

On average it is between three and five weeks depending upon how busy they are at the time. Like right now cos of the new law there are alot of applications so think around five weeks or pay for expedited service and get it in two days.
Your welcome.

I think it's close to 4 weeks. You can pay an extra fee for rush service though.
