Domestic's are unreliable, and cheap so why do people buy them? Why not buy a Toyota, Honda, Nissan, BMW, or even a audi/volxveghien?

Besides, many people like supporting domestic industries.

Quite the contrary, Toyota recalled more vehicles than they produced last year. They just recalled a bunch of Sequoia's and Tundras for steering problems. Not to mention Toyota is under investigation for covering up product defects.

Your comment is a myth. domestics have just as many reliable models as foreign. Top models according to JD Power reliabilty survey were Buick and Cadillac. What you say may have been true in the 70's and 80's, but no longer true.

i think it is unfair to call them all unreliable

tell me one full size suv capable of pulling heavy loads that is an import? the suburban is unmatched by any import

as for cars, yes imports are a better buy for the money and even though imports are getting there, they are not fully there on trucks
