Have you seen the jobs that the illegals take?? I have and I don't know too many legals that would do them. The illegals I have known would love to become official citizens but they can't afford it until they work and can make the money to do it. It is a VERY expensive process. Yes, some of them come here sick, but that is because they need treatment, which they can't get in their countries of origin. Healthcare in their countries sucks. We are all human beings and are supposed to help one another. If we all could work together the possibilities could be endless for improvements all over. They are no different from "us", they are looking to better themselves and their family, they are searching for a better life. Can you blame them? If we were in their shoes we would do the same thing. And speaking of the Native Americans as were previously mentioned, they are the original true Americans. Our ancestors came here and took over, they were the ones that came and took over their hunting grounds, took away their homes and beliefs, brought them illnesses and gave them alcohol and guns. Then they were forced to live in areas that no one would want to live in. Yes, the Native Americans killed our ancestors, but can you really blame them? Put yourself in their shoes and see how you would like it if aliens came and did all that to us now. The illegals aren't even doing what our ancestors did when they came. Come on, let's just work together for a change! Our governement is what sucks, not the people!

I feel is it the "problem of the moment". Last year it was the "Arabs"... it is all a smoke screen to prevent us from seeing the real problems in our country....namely, 43 million Americans with no health insurance, pockets of poverty among Americans that would rival Haiti, a school system that is broken and of course, the illegal war in Iraq.
These "hot button" issues like immigration are perpetuated by those in power to divert our attention from the seriousness of our situation on a global basis. If immigration was truly a problem, the problem would be solved by now.
Don't believe everything you hear or read. Do some research instead.

It will become a boiling element because human beings, perchance even you, get all bent off type over immigration. I agree that each and each body immigration should be via the front door. yet like it or not, the Southwest belonged to Mexicans earlier it became annexed by technique of united statesa.. i do not imagine it may count if Africa were south human beings instead of Mexico. If race were an situation, African human beings may were again to Africa already. that is precisely what white supremacists choose if it were as a lot as them. They dream of the day even as united statesa. is freed from blacks. American Indians dream of the day even as united statesa. is freed from the white guy. objectives, although, at the instantaneous are not truth. united statesa. is a land of immigrants, each and each one human beings. Even the Indians migrated right here via the Bering Strait from Asia some 10,000 years in the past. Immigrants in search of jobs and extra effective probability is not a danger to united statesa.. in the experience that they become electorate and have a tendency to vote Democratic, then they're a political danger to Republicans. Any communicate of terrorism is only a diversion and a smoke demonstrate by technique of the institution who needs to stay in potential.

Illegals come and taken our jobs, working for less money. It really pisses me off that they go out and protest, not even bothering to at least wave the American Flag or speak English. They have the gall to wave the Mexican Flag and speak nothing but Spanish in our country. I have nothing against legal immigrants that come into our country, work legally and pay taxes with a VALID ssn number. I do however think that something needs to be done about people coming here illegally, working off the books, not paying taxes, and not even bothering to learn English. I really don't think we should find the illegal immigrants and ship them out, but instead make sure they are not criminals fleeing from Mexico and get them on the records so that they have to pay taxes and not get paid cash for work. I'm sure this sounds like I am rambling, but I am just typing as things come into my head.

Since when are decisions made on how we "feel" about an issue. The facts prove it out.
Illegal Immigration has accounted for over 70% of U.S. population growth since 1970. Illegal Immigration has contributed significantly to school overcrowding, traffic congestion, the health care crisis, environmental degradation, social tension, and other negative impacts on our country. Yet pro-mass migration forces, including the politically correct media, cheap labor advocates and ethnic pandering politicians, rarely acknowledge the down-side of mass migration.

Your quotation marks, around the word "illegal" suggest that you think that the invasion of the USA, by hostile foriegners, is....somehow....not...illegal.
How would you "feel" if I showed up at your house, entered without your permission, took your food. your things, and DEMANDED that you pay for my medical care, education, and any and all legal costs? I'll do a little light housecleaning - OK?
By the way - I have a very contagious flu - you won't mind if I give my virus to you, and your family, would you? At least it's not untreatable tuberculosis, hepatits, or leprosy, right? Cause that's what the criminal invaders are giving AMERICANS.
Give me your address - I'm coming right over.

I think there's a huge profit motive behind it, and that's why it's being tolerated. Write to your state officials about it...Texas claims they've increased overall state revenue by some 17 billion by not enforcing immigration law.

If you want to be in the USA you need to become a citizen if your not a citizen stay out of our work force we need the job for ourselves. There is plenty of work in Mexico these days as many of out company's have moved down there taking out jobs so don't come here and take more of them.
I think if the Mexicans cross out boarders we should stop screwwing with them and shot them on site it is the only way to stop it.

People are going to find a way to get here. What matters is knowing who is in the country and shipping the ones that are criminals and terrorists back.
The Minutemen are to the Border Patrol what the Guardian Angels are to Cops, annoying wannabes who just make it harder for them to do their job. I think a Border Reserve made up of the young and unemployed from the big cities, with border area land grants and twice a month exercises like the Army Reserve could put the Minutemen out of business, and save money for full time Border Patrol. I'd join a Border Reserve if I could get a trailer, land and college money.
