I went out with a girl the other day for the first time,on the way back to her place i stopped at a gas station and bought some liqour,condoms,and lottery tickets for us and she was offended by it..i dont know why.can anybody fill me in on some insight as to why she was so mad about that?

if you are serious, then you should just go back and reread what you wrote on your question. "i stopped at a gas station and bought some liqour,condoms,and lottery tickets for us..." sounds to me like you're just the romantic every girl is dying to get with. but seriously dude, that was so disrespectful. UNLESS she actually said "I WANT TO HAVE SEX WITH YOU" i suppose that it is easy to assume that she didn't want to get liquored up, scratch some lottery tickets and then use some gas station bought condoms with you.
Yeah, I will assume that this was a joke, because it seems quite easy to see why she was so offended.

I can only support what the other person wrote. She was offended. Of course the choice of items you bought was NOT GOOD!
Liquor--> Make her drunk
condoms--> sleep with her
On a FIRST DATE this is VERY inappropriate. Even if she was in a state of mind to think you didn't want to make her drunk and then get her to bed, she might have thought you will use them with another girl. However, she did definitely NOT think about sex, while you buying condoms definitely was a sign of such thinking on your side.
This offended her, no matter what the condoms were meant for, simply because it was too intimate an item to buy with a girl on a first date!

well let's see genius first date, right? maybe she preferred a different drink or brand of condom or maybe she doesn't like gambling (lottery tickets) or maybe she thought you to be just too BORRRING and she had no intention of doing anything else with you anyway..except dumping your a s s at the front door. Because when it comes to women you can't just expect to get some. Women are sensitive and want men to respect us. By stopping at the gas station and getting condoms you are basically saying thanks for the date now I am ready to ram you. You coulda bought the condons and kept it to yourself, better safe than sorry, I agree, but under these circumstances you prolly shoulda just kept it to yourself.

You were very presumptous to to think that you two would have sex. It is good that you are planning ahead and had protection in case it did occur, but the fact that you assumed it would pissed her off, as it would any woman.

She probably felt hurt thinking that u just want her for sex. Maybe you were too much "in her face"...."too direct" with your purchase, and it hurt her good girl sensibilities. That's my best guess. (Unless it was pre-decided that that's what you both wanted. In that case, I really don't know what might hv angered her).
