Last night my dad asked me and my boyfriend to go with him to a party we didnt really wanna go but whatever. So we got to the party and the lady that was having the party was being really rude. She was introducing everyone but when it got to me she acted like she didnt even know me and shook her hand like "who cares" so that was strike 1. Then she runs up to my dad and was like "hey dave guess whos here?! Aileen!!" So im like WTF and so was my boyfriend because we both noticed that was a little strange. Then I was determined to find out who "Aileen" was. Eventually we found out and my dad was dancing with her and conversing with her too. So I went outside and the so called Aileen was leaving and he was quick to ask "hey where are you goin?!" I love my mom so i felt i had to tell her what i saw and heard. I did and she told my dad. Now hes telling me im stupid and that he doesnt want 2 talk 2 me because i gossip too much and all this other s**t. My moms not mad.Did i do the right thing?

I would've talked to your father first before going to your mom. Just because they were dancing and talking doesn't mean anything. I don't think your stupid for telling your mom, she did need to know. Like I said though, you should've talked to your father first about what happened that night and had your father tell your mom about his actions.

No you did not due the right thing, you should have gone to your dad first, and talked to him about what you say and heard, and what did he really do? he danced with her and talked to her, none of which is cheating, what you did is run off like a little kid and tell mommy, which now has made your dad feel like an outsider in his own home, you have taken sides, you are suppose to love and honor both your parents not just your mom!! I think you should still talk to your dad about what happened that night, I mean really how dumb is your dad? if he was going to cheat on your mom, would he really bring you and your boyfriend with him (which I find to be very creepy in itself) and if he did bring you then he certainly knew your mom would know. I think you blew the hole thing up and caused problems in your home!!
