just remind yourself of why you broke up in the first place.
btw. if you are with someone now and obsessing over your ex, then you arent commited to your current love. FYI.

Honey thats something you'll never be able to do cause it sounds like you still have feelings for him even though you broke up with him and has another b/f. Even though yall didn't get along but yall've tried doesn't mean yall can't remain friends. The problem is he's part of your past and part of you past in going to be in the back your mind. Of course every once in a while your going to think about him but if your thinking about him 24-7 all the time. I suggest you to give your b/f a brake if you don't want to end up causeing problems with him. Cause to me it sounds like you still have feelings and before you can take over another relationship you have to realize if you still love this guy or except the fact you broke up with him and that yall fight to much to be together or you can try it again.

well it takes time. most people it roughly takes about three to four months to just accept that they have really lost the person and that's when they could start moving on. but they also know that they don't necessarily have to erase the person from their lives, but they just have to learn that they are no longer in a relationship and the feelings once had aren't there anymore. you j ust need to really give it some more time, and not to tread into your personal life, but you shouldn't be in a relationship when you still feel so strongly for your ex, it leads to a lot of pain (from your new ex).

My gf and I were having problems after a LONG time together. We saw a counselor - the most difficult thing I ever had to do, and the SMARTEST thing I ever did in my life. Ten years later we are still together.
If you really want to "get over" the guy the ONLY real solution is to... get a better guy! Does your new bf treat you nice? Stick with him. In relationships that are over we tend to remember the good stuff and forget the pain. You CAN do this - if you really want to. Good luck!

You can't erase him completely he was part of your life. What you need to do is give yourself time and space to heal. Your new boy may also feel that you're not completely into him either, so you need to watch out for that. Just accept the fact that Andy isn't your boy and appreciate the new one you have.

Do the things you love and that ex gets smaller in the rear view mirror pretty quickly. When you are having fun you aren't concentrating on what was, you're doing what *is* right now.
Best of all, you are bound to meet someone who has a lot in common with you that you like and next thing you know, the X is replaced and old news.

It takes time. The longer you two were a couple the more time it takes to get over the break up. You say you have a new b/f. This is an excellent start. You have moved on, just keep moving. Time will heal.

Stop deleting him. That's a sign of anger. Go on living your life with him there - one day you'll delete him with others and you won't feel anything. That's a fact. Try it!!!!
