are these preppy people rich? I'm one of these people who don't like rude, inconsiderate people. I often have to deal with very rich and wealthy people where I live. They can be the meanest, evilest people on earth. I guess if you are wealthy here you get the Free pass to treat other people like trash. The women of rich men, I can't stand them, they think they can talk to you how ever they please and you are suppose to just take it. Sometimes I really just want to tell them off, but if I do I'd get fire from my job. They all want to be catered too and they don't like to hear the word NO, and they think they should be taken care of right away and they don't care about other people what so ever. They make me sick. I realize not all rich people are this way, but the majority of them need to pull their heads out their butts and give it a rest.

I don't know about bossy but I have encountered annoying peppy people. They are at times inconsiderate of others who have legitimate feelings of downheartedness. If you have just lost a loved one you really don't want someone telling you to 'turn that frown upside down!" That is rude.
However, most of the peppy people I know are not like that. They are genuinely happy and full of life, however they are also compassionate and extremely polite. Their positive nature makes them a joy to be around.

EDIT
OH you said preppy! Nevermind.

It's not because they're preppy, it's because they're insecure, immature adolescents. They may grow out of it, they may not. If they don't, then they'll be annoying, rude, insecure and immature adults...preppy or not. Maybe they're into the whole "preppy" thing because they feel safe with a group identity. There's not a lot you can do with insecure, selfish people except to try to ignore them.

Haughtiness and pride are issues of the heart and can be found in EVERY group. If I'm a stuck up snob, my ugliness will be much more noticeable than whatever I'm wearing whether it's some khakis and hush-puppies or a leather jacket with jeans full of holes.

The meaning of preppy as changed. When you look it up in the dictionary it simply means someone prepping themselves for college.

At school, it means the richer kids who are wearing mostly what is fashionable. At my school we're such a small town and have known each other for forever we don't hold to stereotypes. I mean sure, we have kids that fit into those stereotypes, like I guess you could say that I'm the rich kid, but I am dating a band geek & anime loser.

It is true in every type of person. It is true in skaters, emos, and whatever fashions there are. There will always be people like that, but don't think because 5 are like that, the rest of them are like that too. That's not true.
