when i was a baby i had an opperation and now i have this big white scar streaching horesontally (however u spell that) over my stomach. i really hate it and im quite self consious about it when im wearing my bikini on my hols. do u think this will ever fade? i know it will nevr really go away compleatly bt how noticable will it be in the future (say when im about 17)?

listen girl that scar could tell a story or two do you know why you got the scar? if you do some day some cute boy will ask you while you are lying on the beach ,"how did you get that scar ?" is that a good chat up line or what ?
the scar will fade with time by the sound of you ,you are still quite young so it might fade, other that you could get some type of laser treatment.

It won't ever go away, I also have a scar on my stomach, from over 20 years ago, it's faded to white, but it leaves an indentation, it never bothered me, don't fret about it, plenty people have scars.

Your scar will continue to fade. Please don't worry about it. In fact I'd make a thing of it, if anyone asks, laugh and say you got bitten by a shark! People are always interested in scar stories!!
Wear it with pride 'cos the only reason you feel bad about it is because you're thinking negatively about it. Try to view it as something to be proud of.
I have a scar similar to yours and I'm proud...it is part of me and my life story.

It gets slightly more less noticeable in the future, but it will always be their.
Try Bio oil from Boots, its meant to eliminate scar marks

i had a scar on the face i use bio oil its used funny for woman's stretch marks when birth very good and now its fade away top stuff you get it in any heath shops our try boots

it will fade try useing bio oil from boots some were like that i use it on my strech marks and i had bad marks trust me it works it cost about 10 pound and will last for at least 4 month thats applying it twice a day

it'll prob fade a little bit by then hun, but it'll always be there. dont be ashamed of it. look at all the great big fat hairy women on the beach and be glad you look so much better!!!!
