How many of you girls go to a bar to meet guys?

Question

Im curious as to how many girls go to a bar or club looking to meet a guy. Are you there to meet someone new and maybe start something with? Or are you there to catch a buzz and have fun with your friends?

I assume you are asking single women, but since I was one once, I'll give you the truth:
Single girls who are together wherever there are single guys around, and especially girls going out to a bar are *always* hoping to meet/talk to guys.... always--always---always ! (sometimes even those with bf's)... but are satisfied if they just have a good time with their friends.

I always admired a guy who would come up and talk to the whole group, not just the hottest of us....because if he's going to be a bf candidate, we all need to like him!
Also, although one or two could be b*tchy if he's not up to their "standards" there are always a few nice ones in any group that will talk to the guy bold enough to step up; however, it's an art---confident and kind come to mind as the top 2 necessary qualities.
Although I met a lot of guys in bars that I dated, as did my friends, I only have one friend who actually married a guy she first met in a bar.

Used to go to a Bar for the social outing, it gets boring pretty quick though and think about it, unless you are with friends , it appears to be stupid just sitting in a Bar waiting for something to happen. which I had not wasted as much time as I did .

I don't go to bars or restaurants to meet guys...I go just to hang out with my friends and have fun. Whatever happens, happens. Looking to meet someone while you and/or they are intoxicated is not a good idea.

That is the worst place to meet a guy.
And most are drinkers/ drunks.
