There is this pristine island about 550 kilometers off the coast of Australia, northeast of Sydney. I understand tourism there is carefully regulated to limit overcrowding and destroying the fragile ecosystem. I would still like to visit the island and would appreciate information on lodging and recreation. Thanks.

you must book accommandation. make sure you get a place where you have your own cooking facillities . take your own frozen meat[ they are all seventh day adventists ] and your alchohol as the Island board import everything and charge like wounded bulls.ie. a bottle of jacobs creek wine will set you back $37 in one of the guesthouses. they have a butchershop but it is hidden from visitors.make sure you pick a package deal for airfares and accommadation . the island is abso-bloody-beautiful.
