Your mom doesn't hate you... but she wants the best for you and she is trying to show you that in the best way she can. As far as money... it is really important to learn a few things... so here goes. (1) It is good and very grown up to learn that you can't have everything you want the instant you want it. Being able to wait for things, to plan how to get them, is very grown up and is a great life skill for you to start learning, (2) it is really wise to learn the value of saving now. Try talking to your Mom about where you get/earn your money... and make a plan to put half of it into savings for something big... maybe a special pair of shoes or as you get older to help pay for car insurance or college. That way you still have half of your money to spend and you will learn how to do #1. (3) Walk a mile in your Mom's shoes. Try (I know this is very hard at 11) to understand your Mom's position. It is based on lots of experience. Anyway, you can tell I'm a Mom cuz this is sort of preachy. But I promise your Mom doesn't hate you. You could consider printing all these answers and talking to your Mom about what she would like to see you do regarding money and then use these ideas to talk about it. And.... in the end, you should do what your Mom says because she has lots more experience than you. Good luck. You are a lovely person to worry about this. Very mature.

Wow. As a young adult of 11, alot of money for you and alot of money to her is 2 completely different things. You might think you may be irresponsible because of the way you spend money. Your mothers doesn't hate you. She is a little upset at you and dissappointed but she is trying to help you to become a responsibility and how to manage your money. I still live home with my parents and i'm 19. They don't want you to have debt or anything so just listen to your mother

It might be that she's worried that you don't know the value of money if you are spending it a lot. This especially might be true if your mum came from a hard off background.
Try saving for something you want to buy, and tell your mum what you've done.

She does NOT hate you, she is just stressed out. Try to put other things before yourself for a while, she is concerned about finances and your possible selfishness. She wants you to have a better appreciation for money, what it takes to have it and she wants you to not focus too much on materialism. Just cool out. Do things for her and for your family without her having to ask. Just give her time to let her cool off.

try to talk to her about it, let her have her say, then put across your point of view, try to reach a compromise. remember though (coming from someone who remembers being in the same situation not long ago) sometimes she is right, so do try to listen to her, but no matter what she will always love you, she doesnt hate you, and if you try to listen to her and be reasonable then shes more likely to listen to you and be more understanding
hope things get better
