why do the us use the navy and marine corps in iraq, and not the army like all other countries would do?

Pointless question, our forces in Iraq involve the United States Army, the USMC, The USAF, and The USN. Maybe next time you'll do some research on your question before asking.

huh? all 4 combat branches have been used in iraq and all 4 of them has had blood spelt in the iraqi desert for this pointlessly long conflict we have over there. the marines and the navy were the first to be sent but the army soon followed after the initial attack and then the air force.

The Marines are perfectly capable of handling the job.
After Fallugia the terrorists would rather face the army anyway,
300 yard and better head shots are upsetting to them.
