you tell a guy 'i like you' and he stops calling u but emails ur best friend about you, asking about how you're doing and stuff like that. you say things and he asks your friend about what you said instead of asking you... why would a guy not talk to you but always talk to someone else about you?

now that you've told him how you feel, he's scared half to death around you. of course he's not talking to you! him not talking to you means that he's shy and sensitive. in my opinion, that's a good thing. don't be afraid to make the first move. he'll appreciate it a lot. but, he will eventually get over the fact that he's scared. when he does, don't let him take your relationship to far.

maybe hes scared to talk to you now that he know how u feel. Some guys get weirded out on that stuff even though they feel the same and they actually tryin for the girl. I would call him and ask him whats the deal because you really like him and you thought the same from him.
or
case 2 would be that he thought of you as a really good friend and then by you tellin him you like him he figures not talking to you would make it easier for you but being he still cares as a friend he wants to know how ur doin n stuff.

I had the same thing happen to me but,I was the friend. The thing is the guy is shy, and it may or may not be a new thing for him. So YOU need to make an effort to talk to him,and maybe he, in time, will talk to you

Girl, that ain't no shyness. Straight up guys shouldn't be that uncomfortable to talk with a woman face-to-face. If he keeps doin' this your gonna end up in a situation where he dumps you through an email, cell phone call, letter, etc. Not cool. =(

I have to go in another direction. If a woman asked me something and I didn't get back with her about it then that would mean that I really didn't like her, and there's a strong possibility that he likes the firend of yours that he keeps going over your messages with. It sounds like he's using you to try and get your friend.

he's probably just scared to death...have your friend put his mind at ease, let him know you are interested, and then you contact him..make the first move - again...sometimes guys can be a little slow...LOL but you gotta love 'em
