We haven't been dating long, only a few weeks, but because it is the day created for couples I would like to get him something...but I don't have a lot of money to spend.
He wants to be an author (like me), he's in Junior College and majoring in English Lit, and into anime and video games. I was thinking I couldn't go wrong with a gift card to Barnes and Noble, but that's so impersonal, you know?

It doesn't even matter what the story is about, but it will be written just for him. (it could be romance, comedy, horror, etc)

Barnes and Nobel? Well you could get him a giftcard there but it would be more personal to get an actual book that you know that he wants. If you haven't been dating long just think of something fun, like a funny card and maybe a giftcard to his favorite restaurant or for ice cream. Can't ever go wrong with food! Guys don't really care about getting cutsey stuff for Vday and trust me, they don't analyze the meaning behind gifts as much as girls do.

An intriguing map that leads him to you using wit and intelligence and well thought out cliches and similes to solve riddles and such. Then of course you better make sure the prize be pretty outstanding. Really outstanding.
