I propose to fly from Houston to Chennai,India by Airfrance taking a connecting flight from Paris CDG

Go through passport control, run across the parking lot, go to terminal 2E...depending on your connecting time, you'll be okay to use the regular walk way or bus. Just make sure you get your connecting boarding pass at check-in! Once you arrive in terminal 2F, and you still have more than 1/2hour, you are fine the regular way...also, when you check in, you can also ask, if there are a lot of passengers traveling to Chennai that day - if so, in case of a tight connection, the other plane might hold a bit! These are all just suggestions, don't count on my advice; however, do not worry, every day these connections are made by thousands of people, you will be okay!!!!
