My girlfriend and i have been together for almost 3 years.It took a while to figure this out.WHENEVER i'm happy or try to be happy she's miserable.I mean,She totally freaks out.Tells me i neglect her,cries,ect..But when i'm depressed or feel bad,mysteriously,SHE"s happy!!!No problems!?? WHAT KIND OF BIZARRE DISORDER IS THIS??? I know my psychology a bit,but this one has me baffled.

It sounds like when you are unhappy...she is the one that might be able to "support you", be there for you....she can feel important in your life. When things are going well, she may be afraid that you don't (or won't) need her anymore.
Sounds like she may need some counseling - Good luck

There are a few people who are really happy when someone else is miserable. I don't think it sounds like someone that I would feel comfortable around, especially when I was feeling bad. It took you 3 years to figure this out. You must have been hoping you were wrong. If you two stay together, I hope you get some serious help. Everyone needs to be happy 95 % of the time.

It could be that she has the need/desire to take care of people.
It could be that you do treat her different when you are happy and she notices the change.
It could also simply just be a routine that you two have gotten into and you are just now noticing it. Bring it up with her, hash it out.
It will be hard to stop since it's been going on for a while but this is the most likely scenario.

This is a common disorder. It's called a love-hate relationship. It's a waste of time and energy. You two need to go your separate ways and be happy with someone else, cause it's never gonna happen being together.

She loves you, she thinks that if you keep mserable or obsessing, will be for her own, her only love. (or)
She is not a self confident, as if you are happy, "She tought" that you will get another girl friend. or she likes seeing you miserable, may be you appear very attractive when you are like that.
