Please answer this!i can not make up my mind?

Question

I have long,curly brown hair.I am getting a haircut today but i am not sure if i should get it cut short .do you think it would look okay???

i ahve it layered but could i get it layered again

should i get it layered shoulder length and shouldnt i get it cut when its dry so i can tell if its gonna kink up when it does dry

Without a picture it is hard to tell, but if your hair is long and naturally curly it will have less weight to hold down or straighten out the curl or wave your seeing with it long. In other words, without the length it will appear curlier or wavier. That can work for you or against you depending on the shape of your face and the cut you choose. Natural waves or curls when cut can add height to styles, or texture. Another tip is that if you have the ends textured, you will have much more curl coming up than if it is blunt cut and not textured at the ends. I hope this helps, but without pictures it is very hard to make suggestions for hairstyles that would enhance your face and body style.

shorter might make it kink up way shorter than you meant to go.

Do you mean shorter to your shoulders or even shorter like past your ears?

I can remember a girl in school who had an unfortunate short bob with her curly hair. I don't think her mom let her put gel in it and she was called Q-tip and Brillo. Not nice. Kids can be such brats.

Short can be very spunky though! Just depends on what you're willing to do with it. Keep in mind what your hair is really like and flip through some picture books to see if anything catches your eye. Good Luck!

Figure out your face-shape. And then look at websites for hairdos, hairstyles etc [you'll have to google for it]. If you've got a round face, then a short hairdo will make it appear more fuller and more louder, altho if you get it layered, it might give it a different look. Plus, you might want to have a good talk with your stylist about it. When you're being asked about what you'll like to get, just ask them back what in their opinion woul dbe suitable. Then you mix their thoughts with your own thoughts and you'll get a good result, hopefully. Good luck! :)

It would look okay short (depending on where you get it cut) but in my opinion curly hair looks much better longer. But that's just what I think. Hope it helps and good luck with your hair. Don't go to Super Cuts.

i have really curly hair too; don't get your hair cut too short because you can't really do n-e thing with it unless ur going to straighten it all the time.. leave it at the shoulders when curly or even past the shoulders.. & even long layers..

be daring and go for a change! you never know you mite like it and look hotter than before! a change in hair style will get you noticed - so do you wanna be noticed?

if you dont like it short get hair extensions and learn from the mistake.

try tying back ur hair/tuck it in a jacket to get an idea of it being shorter.

yeah you gotta go for it - if ur in high school everyone experiments better to do it now than later. at least you can blame it on your age ;-)

Do not cut your hair drastically shorter than what it is now. You would regret doing it. Trim it or layer it but do not cut it short-

Not to short I have the same hair type if it is natural it would just pop up everywhere if its too short. To your shoulders or like a bib is nice.

i think it would look super cute layered cuase my hair is the same way and i just got it layered and it looks so cute. dont do to sohrt of layeres tho.
