I would like to know if possible if someone could give me an idea of what is up with my car when im turning left i hear a grinding noise and feel like im dragging underneath along floor someone mentioned could be rods is it likely to be that not my brakes just had new disk and pads on

Could be a stone stuck in the brake callipers.

If the noise was not present before you had the brake job,take your car back to the mechanic as he probably screwed something up (bolt not tightened,etc).if noise was present before brake job have cv joints checked
