What type of finish is best over a cabinet that is painted over laytex acrylic paint?

The cabinet will be in the kitchen so I need to be able to wipe it down from time to time. Thanks!

they make a washable latex paint.
seems as though the cabinet is painted already, i would suggest a polyurethane coating
takes a bit to let dry.

The Wrangler has some fairly solid suggestions. As a do-it-yourselfer and artist i prefer to characteristic that in case you do opt for to both fake paint or strip your kitchen cabinets practice your skills on some thrift keep furniture first. you'll learn lots from it and be in a position to get a much more beneficial advantageous theory of how a lot of a project you'd be taking on. i have seen lots of books on adorning with paint that educate a spread of fake paint finishes, attempt surfing a higher book position. the priority that i'd have about attempting to paint them to seem as in the adventure that your furniture is they gained't. Being next to the actual timber (to my suggestions) will lead them to look a lot less authentic in evaluation. If I were going to paint them for me, i'd opt for a colour/form that would coordinate with quite than imitate the cherry. solid success on your project!
