Our military is a volunteer force, i do not pity us for we choose to be where we are and are proud of the difference we make. We are proud of the choices we make in our life's and perform our duty with pride, vigilance and integrity.
I have served overseas last year and if they ask again i will say yes. its as simple as that, i swore an oath and my honor and integrity lies within that oath.
I or any of my fellow soldiers do not ask for your pity, more for your support.
Help us and our family's in these hard times so that we can all do our jobs better and come home sooner.

Soldiers everywhere have always been pitied because of the saying let loose the dogs of war and because without men who stand in harm's way our lives and ways of life would not be worth anything. So pity them if you want, but do not forget to praise them for their sacrifices so that you and I can live free or as close to free as any civilized nation has ever lived before(until GW Bushie, of course).
