To me it looks like they take refried beans, throw on some taco sauce and shredded cheese and heat it up I would guess in a microwave. sounds simple but Im not sure if that is exactly what it is or not. can somebody help me

Beans and cheese.

It's refried beans, heated up with grated cheddar cheese. They put some enchilada sauce, also heated up, on top as well. It's a great side dish, easily prepared at home.

Don't work at Taco Bell and don't really know what menu item you're talking about, but I have made something that sounds similar. I just take a can of re-fried beans (or more depending on number of people), I put it in a bowl and mold it around the edges to make a hollow center in the bowl. I sprinkle on some shredded cheese (the stores already sell it shredded so it's easy!) I heat it for a minute of two in the microwave then fill the center with (I like green) salsa. Sometimes I add freshly chopped cilantro and sliced olives. It's up to you! Good luck!

I make it all the time. Take a can of refried beans, heat it up on the stove, low heat, constantly stirring..this will make it more liquidy.
Add your favorite taco sauce, some shredded cheese - and you'll be in bsns.....

When you heat up the beans from a can in a pot on the stove, add just a bit of water. It makes the beans easier to heat all the way through and easier to eat.I like to add salsa also.
Oh ,I just love it!
Enjoy.

refried beans (hot) in a tortilla shell..on the shell (before you put the beans down) put sour cream and guacamole. add grated cheddar cheese then put the beans down...you can add lettuce and salsa and anything else (sliced tomatoes, olives, cilantro, etc).
