I'm just curious why, on my last question about possibly wanting an old flame back, the "male" population told me to move on b/c I'm just a booty call, whereas the "female" pop (except for one) told me to forgive, forget & give him another chance.
I see a trend:
1) Men are completely honest when in anonymous cyberspace and able to answer a womans question without fear of reprisal.
2) Women are completely honest with each other in answering anonymous questions - it's like all the stuff we want to say to our best friends, but can't cause you know it'll hurt her feelings.
Very interesting.

I went back and read your original question.
I tend to agree with the women. If you both want to give it another try. He is in a different stage right now and maybe it can work. All depends on if you are really interested. Your description of him doesn't paint him as a player.
As to the war of the sexes thing. Men and women wired differently and you have to take that into account every time. On y-answers age is as much a factor. A 15 year old and a 40 year old are going to have radically different perspectives.

Women and men are wired differently when it comes to "affairs of the heart"...men don't have hearts and we don't do "romance"....except to get...well, you know what. Most men are realist and women are romanticists. You hear ONLY what you want/need to hear. Whereas a guy can handle the truth, no matter how harsh it is. We need to know the facts so that we can move on.

I thought all women knew that for a man to feel love he needs sex, and for a woman to feel sex she has to feel she needs to feel the love first. Until all men and women understand that there will be emotional crisis for eons to come.
and yes sadly booty calls are still alive and well in the modern world.

I see women, just taking the opposite position as the men, as they usually do...Women just have to be disagreeable...but you won't agree with that will you.
