I don’t think so I hate when parents get mad because their little boy wants to play with a doll. it will only make them a better dad in the future. And just because they play with a doll doesn’t mean they will become gay I believe that’s something your born with. I absolutely am not against gays just to make that clear. What do you think?????

My son dose not play with dolls. That was just an example I work at a preschool. However my son dose have a play kitchen that he loves but he also is big into trains right now.( YES if my son turned out to be gay I would still love him) Like I said I have nothing against people who are gay.

As a child I played with trucks, trains, and toy guns. It's what I enjoyed playing with. that simple.
Gender toys are more in the mind of adults than children. children will play with what attracts their attention and sparks their creative play. Most don't even distinguish boy toys and girl toys until they get old enough to have been taught that.
A boy that likes play kitchens is not trying to be a mommy...just doing what he sees mommy doing. If he becomes a chef it won't be because he could flip a plastic hamburger at the age of 18 months.

To me i think not but however i know one boy that would play with barbie dolls all the time well he loved the movie "Under the sea" and had every Ariel doll they made and he is now gay.
I think that playing with dolls are not going to make you gay because i believe that you are either born gay or not.

When the boy is a young toddler, it is just play.
I don't think it is unhealthy for an older boy (say 9 and up) to play with dolls or want to dress up like a princess but I would think it is strange if he wasn't interested in other activites and toys as well.
The obsession to play with girls toys would make me think something is up with my little boy, but a healthy interest in all toys and games wouldn't be so bad.
Of course I have nothing against gays, but I just can't picture my little boy oneday dating another boy - which is why it will sting if he did but I will love my kid no matter what he chooses in life.
Besides which I think gays have a fantastic sense of fashion and decor which I sorely lack, so it would kinda be cool to have a son who can help redecorate, cook fancy meals and let Mommy know which outfit to wear.

I think that it builds their parenting skills. I let my oldest son play with dolls and other girls toys when he was little; and you should see how great he is with his twin 4 year old sisters! (he's now 11) And all 3 of my girls love to play with cars, tonka trucks, car racing video games, and action figures! They are all 3 girly girls so it hasn't changed tham into tom boys! Why would letting little boys play with dolls turn them gay?
They make boy cabbage patch dolls! Why not get your son one of those if you're worried about what other people are saying?

No. Playing with dolls will not make a boy gay. People are born gay. I played football and baseball growing up with the neighborhood kids. I still watch football every Sunday during football season and I am most definitely not gay.
As for your sons kitchen, my son has a kitchen as well. He loves it. In fact, most boys I know love their kitchens. My husband also loved to pretend to cook when he was a child. Now he loves to bake and cook and I am happy to let him! =)

no, i think if a boy plays with a doll then he will be a really good father, he will know all the basis (how to hold it, how to change diapers, and so on) I also believe that gay is something that you are born with (not saying its genetic) but it has nothing to do with boys playing with dolls. thats just a stereotype

I do believe they should play with Girl toys, and girls should be able to play with boys toys. If we can have women in the service, then why not. If someone is going to be gay or lesbian I also believe they are born with those tendencies and no matter how they are brought up, will not change that.

Not at all.... girls play with cars and trucks, so why isit so bad for a boy to play with a doll? I think that's just a silly notion some ego maniac thought up and some people dont know any better.
Excellent Question though!

I think some people are just stupid. my little cousin used to love playing with his sisters (he had an older brother but a pre-teen boy will not play with his 7year old brother willfully) until his father started telling him he couldn't play with dolls and he was a sissy.
not only did he stop playing with his sisters- he started breaking their dolls' heads off

I agree with you.My 2 year old loves baby's so we got him a baby doll. He is the happiest little boy you've ever seen.He runs around feeding it changing it and singing it to sleep. all the while saying look mommy I'm a good daddy. Or see I'm doing what my daddy does.
