You can adopt children as single parents but it will be hard as a lesbian couple to do so, but if you are willing and wanting to have a child then go for it. There are a lot of kids in the system who need good parents.

do a lot of research...you might have a lot of hoops to jump through. but look at sights and organizations that would be willing to give you and your girlfriend a child. also look to agencies overseas as well as other couples that have adopted, it wouldn't be a bad idea to become foster parents first and then try to adopt some of the children.
