It's a little itchy, but not too bad, and it feels scaly to the touch. I have about 10 of them and they seem to keep appearing. They aren't patchy; they appear randomly. Some on my legs, my back, my stomach, and my hips.
I'm gonna make an appt. at the dr. tomorrow, but I was just curious what this is.

It's good you're seeing your doc. Could be psoriasis. It doesn't sound like shingles. Do you have any other symptoms besides your rash?

psoriasis. If your GP doesn't know, ask to see a dermatologists.
